PANTELIS TSOURIS Dr. Tsouris has been involved in a number of pioneer projects in Greece, United Kingdom, Brazil, and Indonesia. His experience covers project tool development on the first Greek telecommunication mini-satellite, on geo-referenced location systems for the Athens public transportation, the establishment of remote located satellite image and energy systems in isolated Greek islands, the establishment of remote data acquisition system in Roraima, the Brazilian Amazon and in the forests of Sumba, Timor and Java in Indonesia. MARIA GORETI ROSA-FREITAS Dr. Rosa-Freitas has been working on state-of-the-art research, development and consultancy work on entomology and parasitology, pioneering the use of molecular biology tools to solve taxonomic problems on Brazilian insect vectors of malaria, dengue, Chagas disease and leishmaniasis. Her experience covers laboratory and field work in the United Kingdom, the United States and Indonesia, editorial referral work for international journals and for the Ministry of Health of Brazil, publishing and reviewing these, and consultancy on a broad range of projects. She established a remote located laboratory in Roraima, the Brazilian Amazon, specialized in the epidemiological, including geographical information systems on local endemic diseases and vectors. SPYRIDON POTAMIANOS Dr. Potamianos is a computer engineer with background on both research and production related jobs, with specialization on the areas of databases and telecommunications. Possessing advanced skills on software design and development, experience in large software projects, network and system administration and troubleshooting. Research, application and teaching experiences acquired in the United States and Greece as software engineer in software development related to query optimisation and interoperability of conventional and spatial data bases, in research and technological development of the Greek Navy, in design and support of the main computer centre of the National Technical University of Athens, in telecommunications database design and software development in national scale, in research and software development on multi-modal user interfaces. Serving as Advisor of the General Secretary for Telecommunications, Ministry of Transport and Communications and representative of the Ministry on the national committee for the problem of the year 2000. Creative, efficient, with a passion to travel and get to know people and customs at far interesting places, having been to the tropical forests of Venezuela, to the deserts and ancient cities in Jordan, Egypt, Israel and the sea paradises of Maldives and Indonesia. Experience in development and management of annual marketing plans, overview of market elements, sales, distribution, participation of different channels, forecasting of products' volume sales, involvement in the creation of advertising campaigns from copy development to final execution, management of ad-hoc market research projects, creation of brief, evaluation of market research proposal, implementation supervision and follow-up, coordination of NPD projects, involvement in the selection of a permanent team for in-store activities large software projects.
